Hello Kwippers !!!
Hope you all are having a nice weekend.
In yesterday’s deployment we’ve release the much awaited/asked for “twitter-invite” feature, what this means is that now you can invite your friends from twitter to join the party @ kwippy. All you need to do is to go to the invite section of your dashboard, enter your credentials and select those you want to invite.
So if you were finding it difficult to invite people one at a time, things will be much easier for you now. Go right ahead, invite your friends and start building your network.
There’s actually a very thin line between virality and spamming. Rest assured we aren’t tricking and we won’t trick our users into spamming people’s inboxes , so whomsoever receives a kwippy invite on twitter can safely assume its a genuine invite by user’s who know what they are doing. To those twitter user’s who have got or might get multiple invites, don’t think somebody hates you and is spamming you, in fact its just the opposite, that this many people want you to join their network on kwippy
For the records(since we deployed this feature few days back) we now have a way to sort kwips by their activity/comments. So now you can very easily get a sneak peak of what all is happening(being commented open) .
This is another super cool feature, here are the use cases for this feature
1) Order user’s kwips by activity: You can order kwips for a user by activity by just going to that person’s kwips page and clicking recently active kwips link.
for ex: http://www.kwippy.com/mayank/kwips/active/ will sort kwips by mayank by activity i.e kwip by mayank which was last commented on top.
2) Order user’s network kwips by activity: You can also order a user’s network kwips by activity by just going to that person’s network kwips page and clicking recently active kwips link.
for ex: http://www.kwippy.com/mayank/active/ will sort all the kwips in mayank’s network by activity i.e last kwip in mayank’s network that got commented on top.
3) Order everyone’s kwips by activity: Now this is really cool. Say you feel like checking out what are the things being talked about on kwippy. Not a problem, just go to the everyone’s kwips page and click recently active link.
http://www.kwippy.com/everyone/active/ is the quickest way of finding out the buzz on kwippy and if you feel like it you can jump into any conversation you like.
More cool things are in the pipeline so stay tuned and remember that everything on the site(small and big) is guided by your feedback, so the more feedback you give the better kwippy will become for you and for the community. We are all ears for your feedback/suggestions so keep them pouring.
Happy Kwipping !!

Have you included in this a way for us to see which of our Twitter friends might already have an account on Kwippy (by means of linking our Kwippy accounts to our Twitter accounts)?
You guys might want to check this out… there are people on Twitter pissed about this feature:

It’s great so far, I invited all my Twitter friends & a lot of joined already & thanked me! =)
Any response to the complaints on Twitter about being spammed by invites to Kwippy? Alienating a bunch of folk over there!
awesome guys!! i’m so excited! :] *runs off to invite all of her twitter friends*
Thanks S for sharing the links and PF for getting in touch. Please checkout the last post on this blog for more and share your suggestions/feedback.
My friend sent me a direct message on Twitter saying he tried to sign up on Kwippy after receiving an invite but it would not allow him. Here is his message: “Unfortunately when I try to sign up, it won’t let me login. Tells me user/password are wrong even after I’ve reset it.” (bettnet)
Could you help with this problem?
I tried using that twitter user import feature several times but it has yet to work, of course I have 6,700 or so twitter users so this may be a factor.
I rc’d an invite from a friend on Twitter for Kwippy, but unfortunately even after poking around for a couple of minutes the value-add of Kwippy is still unclear to me. Maybe clarify your marketing message on the splash page? How is Kwippy different from / better than Twitter? etc. etc.
Best of luck.
