Kwippy is now Ping.fm enabled

Awesomeness !!

In a really early morning (6AM IST) deployment we released integration with Ping.fm . This release comes out as a first step towards opening our API which will be going live soon. Ping integration was something many of our early adapters were keen on and therefore just like other features the supply soon followed the demand (quite heavy in this case) :)

So from now on you can kwip via your Ping.fm account. All you need to do is to just configure posting to kwippy
in your ping account. The love for ping/kwippy integration was reflected as soon as the announcement was made on ping fm’s blog and we started receiving kwips via ping instantaneously.

A big thanks to Sean for being extremely helpful and swift(two hours only) in the integration process. You’ve got new fans :)

For those who don’t have accounts on “ping.fm”  can use beta code  “kwippy” to signup.

  1. Would you guys consider using a Twitter-compatible API like indenti.ca/Laconica does?

Also, will you be following the OpenMicroBlogging specification? http://openmicroblogging.org/
