I and Mayank had a great time at the social media club and presented what we had learned about product development working with kwippy. Mayank also took this opportunity to sign off and move away from kwippy to work on his own stuff. Here is the presentation, do forgive me if it is very abstract.

Its been quite a while since we talked. Things weren’t going half as good as we had planned and because of some unavoidable issues our Quality of Service went down. To get things back to normal we’ve done a lot of ground work, fixing every bottleneck and eliminating every known and potential issue across our technology stack.
While our code cleaning and other revitalising activities continue I’d like to share that we are trying to get back up 100% and shall be running faster than ever soon. So just hold on a wee bit more and let the awesomess arrive with kwippy as we all knew it.

It gives me immensure pleasure to announce that Electrosocial (the web app development and social media company behind kwippy) is starting a six week internship program from the end of this month. The program is aimed at sharing the fundamentals of Social Media and imparting working knowledge with various tools and services of relevance. The internship would be completely online so that anyone from anywhere can join it. The internship program would consist of (but not limited to) the following:
The internship progam is completely free for all and the interns will also get certificates for the same at the end of internship. Since it’s an internship program, the interns will also get to work hands on our and a few other projects. This experience will be crucial in understanding how Social Media campaigns work, how tools are used, how reporting is done and more.

Just wanted to share that kwippy.com, India’s premier conversational platform was covered in yesterday’s Economic Times. For the uninitiated Economic Times is India’s Leading Business Newspaper run by Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd. This is the first reference of Kwippy in mainstream Print Media. Our chat bot is about an year old and has been running quite smoothly. The bot support the following functionality
1) Storing custom status messages
2) Sending kwips(updates) by sending messages
3) Receiving comments on kwips
4) Getting mentions of keywords on Twitter(Track)
5) Receiving latest kwips(updates) of users.
6) Subscribing to RSS feeds of blogs
Combined together these six features give a lot of power to the chat bot and this is not it, we’ve got plans for some more fancy things.So stay tuned and happy kwipping
